Klimahaus® Bremerhaven - Climate Science Center

Attention globetrotters! Walk along the 8th degree of longitude in the Klimahaus® Bremerhaven and discover the different climate zones. You will freeze, sweat, be amazed and, above all, learn something about the climate, climate change and the weather.

Your journey around the world starts in Bremerhaven and leads you along the longitude 8° East 34'. You will discover the different climate zones on 5,000 square metres. Whether it's high temperatures, humidity or freezing cold, you'll gain a true-to-life insight into the Earth's climates. In Samoa's large aquariums, a South Pacific fringing reef with its corals, fish and other inhabitants await you.

At interactive stations you will learn more about the different climate zones and the effects of climate change. You will meet people whose everyday lives are strongly influenced by the climate. They will tell you their story.
