Summer in Bremerhaven once again belongs to sailors, music fans and connoisseurs, as SAiL Bremerhaven will be celebrated here from August 13 to 17, 2025. Ships are the stars of the event in the heart of the city. The crews of the sailing, steam and motor ships look forward to seeing you and invite you to the Open Ship. The “Alexander von Humboldt II”, which calls Bremerhaven its home port, is not to be missed at the popular harbor festival. In addition to the three-masted schooner “Großherzogin Elisabeth”, the “Nao Victoria”, the “Galeo Andalucia”, which looks like a pirate ship, the oldest surviving deep-sea cutter from 1889 “Landrath Küster”, the steam icebreaker “Wal”, the “Gorch Fock” and many others will also be taking part.
SAiL Bremerhaven 2025 officially starts with an absolute goosebump moment: the entry parade on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 11:00 to 15:00, where you can watch the convoy of participating ships sail along the Weser and marvel at them.
SAiL Bremerhaven, the big port and city festival, always includes a colorful supporting program. Once again this year, you can look forward to the buccaneers' village, where you can expect cabaret, lots of treats and crafts on a medieval-style market square.
Another highlight are the open-air concerts on Willy-Brandt-Platz. Look forward to musical highlights such as Ronan Keating and the NoAngels. All information about the event and the program can be found on the SAiL Bremerhaven website.
